It makes one wonder if the Amazon river dolphin is in any way related to the Hong Kong one. I know one is river-based and the other one is a saltwater variety but the colour is a common trait unless it's a example of convergent evolution?

Another obscure antipodean variety that seems quite rare and only exists in the waters near New Zeland, the Hector's dolphin.
